What Is Mental Health? Thursday 3/28/2019
Do you or someone you know struggle with overwhelming anxiety or insomnia? Would you know the signs to seek help? This important workshop will be a focused discussion on mental health and common misconceptions. We will also examine what types of support are available, and how to know when to seek help for yourself or a loved one. After the talk, there will be time for Q&A.

Ankhesenamun Ball obtained her graduate degree from Alliant's California School of Professional psychology-San Francisco. She majored in Child and Family Forensics and Neuropsychology. Over the last 7 years she has been providing psychotherapy and Assessment services to families in the Bay Area. She has been a strong advocate for families in schools and in the courts when it comes to both Mental Health and Education.
In 2016, she joined the Ann Martin Center family as the Outpatient Program Director. Her passion is decreasing the pre-school to prison pipeline and increasing access to mental health through community engagement. In her role as Director she continues to advocate for children and families as well as support the training of the next generation of clinicians in community mental health.
